Dear Laptop,

You know I love you, and I've had you since my 16th birthday, but you've been acting strange lately. I've ignored it in the past, but it's starting to drive me insane. What with your strange redirecting me to random websites...remember all the times I'd go to a site, and you'd take me back to the Deviantart homepage? Yeah, as much as I like this site, I didn't want to go there. Or if I click on someone's gallery, and you'd take me to photobucket, or yahoo? I don't like that either.

My father and I tried to find the source, but you continued to baffle us. So, for the second time this year, I am pretty much wiping you clean. At least you weren't infected with that dreadful virus that wouldn't let me log back into you. That made me cry. My music, picture files, and word documents are thankfully, safe. I thank you for that computer. But what I'm not happy with is now I will have to install all of the Sims 2 expansion packs again. That is not fun. That takes hours, since I have collected them all over the years.

Please do not do those creepy things with websites ever again. I was blaming firefox, but Internet Explorer started acting the same way. It was the final straw when you asked me for my user name and password in a pop up, just so I could go to the homepage of DA. I, of course, did not because that is stupid. What are you playing at computer? Just what was wrong with you? We did two different virus scans, but both came up clean. Were you just trying to annoy me?

Well, no more, my electronic companion. I don't know what was wrong with you, but you better get back in shape. I forgave you for the constant breaking of power cords, and I even forgave you for your mic and headphone jacks breaking...So please, for me, your dear owner, stop the insanity. I love you computer, and I cannot afford a new one, nor do I want to replace you yet. We've been through too much. Please be nice and work correctly.

P.S. Wacom Tablet Pen, I know you're in cahoots with my computer. I know my dad spilled lemonade on you, but that is no excuse. You should be stronger than that. I bought a new one with the remaining money I had left. It'll be here Tuesday. I'm sure it'll do way better than you. You suck.
